Where We Work
We're based at 100 Innovative Way in Nashua and work the houses around us - Hudson 3 miles east, Hollis 5 miles out, Litchfield and Merrimack at 7, Pelham at 8, Brookline at 9, Amherst and Windham at 10, Milford at 11, out to Bedford, Mason, Salem, Wilton, and Derry around 13-14 miles, and a wider ring that reaches Mont Vernon, Greenville, Lyndeborough, Pinardville, Atkinson, Auburn, Hampstead, New Boston, South Hooksett, New Ipswich, and Goffstown. That's a lot of towns, but it's one region with similar housing stock and the same winters. If your address falls outside this radius, say so when you call and we'll tell you straight whether it makes sense for us to come out.
Most of the service area's homes were built between 1938 and 1997, with the typical house dating to 1981, and across the 25 named areas we cover the bulk of the stock is 1980s-90s construction. That matters for a quote because older torsion setups and older track widths aren't always stocked the same way newer ones are. Knowing roughly when your neighborhood went up - Nashua proper or one of the surrounding towns - helps us guess what's behind your door before we ever see it.
Who Does the Work
We don't have a company history to tell you, and we're not going to invent one. What we can tell you is what we work on: residential garage doors, openers, springs, tracks, rollers, cables, and panels, on single and double doors, for houses across the towns listed above. We work on steel, wood, and composite doors and on both torsion and extension spring systems, which still show up a lot given the age of housing in this area.
We don't do commercial roll-up doors or fire-rated warehouse doors - if that's what you need, we'll say so up front instead of taking the job and guessing. That's the one honest limit on our scope, and it's worth knowing before you call so you're not waiting on a quote for something we won't do.
What We Actually Do
A quote over the phone can only be an estimate. What makes it accurate is what you can tell us: the door's size (single or double), whether it's steel, wood, or composite, whether the spring is torsion (one shaft over the door) or extension (one coil on each side above the track), and what it's actually doing wrong - won't open, opens partway, makes a grinding noise, sags on one side.
What we can't price sight-unseen: a spring that's seized and rusted versus one that's simply broken clean, a bent track hiding a bent panel behind it, an opener that's failing from a stripped gear versus a dying circuit board. Given this region's cold winters, we also see doors where the real problem is the slab itself swelling or warping, not the hardware - that only shows up on an in-person look. If you tell us the age of the house, that's often enough for us to narrow down what spring or track gauge is likely involved before the truck even leaves, since so much of the local stock was built in that 1938-1997 window with a lot clustered in the 80s and 90s.
Contacting Us
Call (351) 200-9726 or come by 100 Innovative Way, Nashua, NH 03062. When you call, having the door's measurements, the brand if it's on a sticker inside the track, and a quick description of the symptom gets you a tighter number than "my door's broken." A photo helps too, especially of a broken spring or a bent track - a torn cable looks different from a snapped spring and the fix (and the time) are not the same.
We serve the towns listed in Where We Work, from Hudson just up the road to the farther edges like Goffstown and New Ipswich. If you're not sure whether your town is in range, just ask - it's a quick answer either way.
Frequently asked questions
Can you give me a firm price over the phone?
Only a range. A firm number needs us to see the spring, track, and panel condition in person. Torsion springs on double doors, for instance, cost more to replace than a single extension spring, and rust or a bent track changes the job. Tell us the door size and what it's doing and we'll get you as close as we can before we arrive.
Do you work on houses outside Nashua itself?
Yes - we cover Hudson, Hollis, Litchfield, Merrimack, Pelham, Brookline, Amherst, Windham, Milford, Bedford, Mason, Salem, Wilton, Derry, Mont Vernon, Greenville, Lyndeborough, Pinardville, Atkinson, Auburn, Hampstead, New Boston, South Hooksett, New Ipswich, and Goffstown, all within roughly 20 miles of our Nashua location.
My house is from the early 1980s - does that tell you anything?
It does. The median home in this area was built around 1981, so we see a lot of original torsion hardware and track widths from that era still in service. Knowing your home's age lets us guess at spring type and gauge before we show up, though we still confirm it on site.
What won't you quote on?
We don't quote or work on commercial roll-up or fire-rated warehouse doors. If that's what you've got, we'll tell you that up front rather than string you along toward a quote we can't actually deliver.
